Installing Acrobat XI Pro from Disk - Typcial vs Complete vs Custom

I'm going to be installing Acrobat XI Pro from disk for the first time.  From the research I've done, I believe I will be asked to choose Typical, Complete, or Custom installation.  I'm a bit of an Acrobat rookie, and am unsure the best route to go.  Without knowing what all is included on the disk for a Complete installation or what would be included in a Typical installation, it is hard to know which to choose.  I'm assuming going with Custom would let me choose various components to install but, again, not knowing what all my options are makes that a difficult choice!  Hard drive space is not an issue, so I'm tempted to go with a Complete installation.  That said, if a Complete installation is going to load 16G (making that number up!) of language packs I'll never use, I may forgo that option!  I've also read that updates cause the Acrobat file size to grow, so again, updating a bunch of stuff I'll never use also seems unwise.  Any advice or guidance on the different installation options would be much appreciated.

Best Regards

Hi David,

The install program, like many, provides the user with the ability to select some optional features. The "Typical" version is just the basic program and the features most would ask for. Complete will install all optional features, and Custom will let you select the additional features beyond the bare minimum.

Some of the options for Acrobat include language packs, Asian fonts, and PDF Maker for various programs like MS Office and AutoCAD.

Rave

Can anybody offer any advice on this?  Differences in file sizes?  Anything I definitely don't want to install?  Future flexibility?

My searches for answers leads to some suggestions, but they offer no support.  I'm seeing suggestions such as "if you have space, just install the complete version", "install with custom and pick your own flavors", "most people just use typical", etc.

My attempt to contact support to see if any guidance exists simply redirects me back to this forum (nice.....)

Thanks much
