Is there a fix for Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for a problem that causes the program to abruptly close after following opening on a Mac using OS X El Capitan?
I couldn’t figure out how to find the files you mentioned. However, today I received an automatic update. When I installed it, it fixed the problem. Thank you.

Please provide the application & OS version installed on your systems.
Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.
Try launching Acrobat holding 'Shift' key .
