Is there a way to display a modeless dialog box in Acro javascript?

I have a script that requires some significant processing time and I want to display an indicator to the user... like maybe what page is being processed.

Is there a method for displaying a message while the script is doing its thing?

Look at the Thermometer object. It's a combined status window and progress bar.
