need help with number forma

I have a text field that I need users to enter a specific number format in. The field format must look like 9-999-999-9. I have experience to farmat field in LiveCycle but I have problem to set format field in Acrobat DC. I will appreciate for detail explanation how to do it in Acrobar DC?

Go to the field's Properties, Format tab, select Special, Arbitrary Mask and then enter that format string to the field below:
