Hi,

We encrypt PDF files using custom security handler. One of our customer is unable to open the encrypted PDF file with Acrobat Reader DC 2019 latest patch 2019.010.20064. If customer downgrade to previous patch 2019.008.20071, everything just works fine.

PDDocOpen() API throws this exception "Bad Parameter" - error code 1073741827 = 0x40000003 = genErrBadParm.

Our customer security handler is written in C++.

The issue only occurs at customer location and we are unable to reproduce locally. Looking forward to hear from experts.

Thanks,

Sameer
