PDF Portfolio/Open Document - Adobe has stopped working

I have recently been making PDF Portfolios but some of the documents within the portfolio need to be edited, however, whenever I click "Open Document" the program stops working and comes up with "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working". I don't have any other documents open either, as I have had issues with having to many pdf's open in the past. Is there a fix or work around for this? I don't want to have to recreate the portfolio every time I have to change a document.

Hi Ginar75149857,

Could you please confirm which operating system you are using?

As a work around please go through the help doc and follow the steps mention in that and see if that helps you.

I have updated my flash and activex as stated in your work around and it has not helped. I am currently on Windows 7.
