Print to PDF gives damaged/corrupted PDF file that Acrobat can't open

I was using Paint and used the Microsoft Print to PDF feature, but whenever I open the PDF, I get the error:

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC could not open 'File' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

I have done this with several .png image files through Paint and all but one gave me this error message after printing to PDF.

So, is this a problem with Paint or Acrobat Reader? And how can I fix it, if at all?

Thank you

Most likely it's a problem with Paint, and/or the Microsoft PDF Printer you're using.
