Printer settings colour greyed out as well as advanced settings how do I get them back so i can change printer settings

I cannot print PDF document in colour greyscale box is ticked and greyed out so I cannot change it. Advised to go to advanced settings but colour management is also greyed out on this. There is nothing wrong with printer

Please check that the printer is actually functional.  If everything is grayed out it generally means that the OS considers the printer off-line or unavailable.  Regardless of Windows or Mac, Google is going to be your best bet to help determine that the printer is on-line and functional (test page).  Please start there.. Thanks.
