Is it possible to format an adobe document so that it permanently prints double sided?
By “an adobe document” we assume you mean “a PDF file.”
There is a way of setting a property of a PDF file that is supposed to cause the print dialog to default to duplex (i.e., double-sided) printing if the printer supports double-sided printing via Document Properties:
However, this setting is not currently honored in Acrobat, Reader, or any other PDF viewer we know of. Furthermore, even if this setting was honored it would be for the default value in the print dialog. It would not force duplex
