Hi,
From time to time we have several issues with the contents of PDF files we create or we receive. We have usually an error on the third page of a multiple page document with the details below.
Message box pops up "There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (117)." We have tried saving the file to the desktop and opening the file with Adobe Acrobat DC on multiple computers and the same issue. The interesting thing is that if we open the PDF in Chrome (After saving to the desktop we drag it to a chrome browser window) it will load all the pages with no errors.
We verified the file downloaded fully at first we thought it was an issue with outlook not downloading the file completely but then we eliminated outlook from the picture by saving the full file to the desktop and then were able to open it with a chrome browser however not able to view all pages in Adobe Acrobat DC.
Please help as this is happening to several users.
Thank you,
Carlos

A quick google search brought this up but it seems the hotfix is not available from Microsoft anymore. Hopefully we can find an alternate fix
