Turn off suggestions drop down when filling in text

When I use the "fill and sign" feature, it shows suggestions based on similar text in a drop down below the field. I normally use the arrow down to adjust the position of the text field, but when this drop down appears i just scroll through that instead. I dont want the program to suggest some text i wrote myself, i can write it again myself.

Switch off the entry "Auto-Complete" in the preferences.

That didn't help. I am not filling a form, I am writing on top of a PFD with empty lines for text, sort of as a new layer with the "fill & sign" feature. It still suggests text bits which i have already written.

Oh now I accidently found it. Click "Settings" in the top right corner of sidebar!
