search for AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat and rename it.

if you have a mac, check /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat.

after renaming restart your computer and retry updating.
