We have Acrobat 6.0 CE. We are moving to a new computer and want to take Acrobat with us. How can I do this.

One of my end users has Acrobat 6.0 CE on her computer. We are deploying a new desktop computer for her. I do not have any install media for this version of Acrobat. We are fine to have her continue to use 6.0 CE. How can I get the software installed on the new machine without paying for an unnecessary subscription to CC?

In addition (beyond the scope of this one user), we have approximately 5 individuals in our organization who would benefit from having a a version of Acrobat that allows editing. The versions available are incredibly confusing. Acrobat DC, Pro, etc. Also, I don't want to have to pay $20/mo for each copy we need. Is there some sort of volume licensing available? We are going to be purchasing the entire CC for one user (at $50/mo) but do not want to up our monthly bill simply to have Acrobat available to the 5 or so users that need to edit PDFs.

Please help me out!

Thanks.

Acrobat is a product range.

The editing ones are just Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Standard.

"DC" is a version number!

You can only get DC versions.

Each one comes as either subscription or purchase. Subscription strongly recommended given the rate of change of systems and apps, soon a purchase will be out of date.

Volume licensing is available (but still around $20/month). Recommended too, administration of retail copies in a business is awkward.

No upgrades from Acrobat 6 available. If you run Acrobat 6 be sure to install a suitably ancient OS, don't expect to work on current systems.

Appreciate the responses. Yes, our organization is running a lot of old machines. Acrobat 6.0 runs on Windows 7 just fine.

Thanks again for the info!

Cannot get to Chat Support. The only option is the forums, which is odd, because I chatted with support about 2 weeks ago clearing up some AI and PS issues...

Probably because it's a non-supported version. Even if you did reach them they won't be able to help you out.

I'm just trying to get to chat support to find out what purchasing options my organization has. Now that I know just how old 6.0 is, we want to get current. My org (which is small) beats their machines and software to death before upgrading. LOL.
