When I use Acrobat to create a form the fillable portions are not on the page

I have a pdf that presumable was originally created in Excel. There are several boxes that I would like to make typeable. When I ask Acrobat to create a form from this document from what I can tell it reads the fields correctly with proper labels. However, the fields are displaced from the page. In other words, all of the fillable fields are above the page so that when you fill them out they would not appear on the page. This is new. I have tried this with several pdfs in the past week with the same results. A month ago this wasn't the case.

After having this issue I downloaded all available updates but that didn't help.

I'm running Acrobat XI in Windows 7. I also have Office 2010.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've seen people report this before, but I guess it hasn't been fixed. You choulse be able to select all of the fields and move them into position.
