Why is one of my PDF pages unusually large?

One of my PDF pages measures 22 inches by 33 inches when it should only be 8 inches by 12 inches.  It is a page that was scanned from a book.  All of the other pages are the correct size.  I tried converting this one page into a PDF by itself but it still comes out too large.  This really makes it difficult to have a uniform document.

Hi,

You can try the above suggested steps to create that page as a new page with the required paper size (like other paper's size)

Hi afaict ,

Would like to inform you that you may recreate this enlarge document using Adobe PDF printer & following this step :- In print menu > Properties > Layout > Advanced > under Paper size select the custom paper size option & in that window put your required size details .Sometimes this behavior arises when having scanned documents .

The problem that I am having is not with printing the page but in viewing it. For some reason the image is enlarged when it is converted to a PDF.  The other pages are their normal size.  If it's not a fault of the Adobe software it could be a problem with my computer or with that particular page.
