PDF Embed and Safari 18

Hey folks, as I've seen a bunch of messages on this I thought I'd post this. Currently, PDF Embed is not working with Safari 18 (both desktop and iOS). We are aware of the issue and are working to get it corrected as soon as possible.

When it is corrected, I will post back to *this* thread.

An update:

There is an issue with accessibility support. Our *temporary* fix will be to disable that support until a proper fix can be shipped.

The ETA for this initial fix is Monday.

Not yet no, the temporary fix caused another issue that we need to determine if we can ignore for now. Most likely we will NOT be able to push the temp fix and will need to wait. As soon as I know I'll post.

Can we atleast work with iOS support team on this? This issue is impacting our business. Seems there is very less traction on this issue!

We are having lot business escalations because Adobe Embeded API is failing to render PDFs on iOS18, irrespective of browsers.

I think by now you should have atleast provided workaround if not a fix.

I request you to treat the issue with atmost urgency.

We are 100% treating it as high priority, I can assure you.

As a reminder, on iOS, there is only one 'real' browser, Safari. So if something goes wrong there, all browsers break.

The temporary fix is now live. This fix removes some accessibility features, but again, is temporary, and gets Embed running in iOS18 again.

We'll be monitoring our communication channels on any issues after the fix and update this thread.
Meanwhile wanted to understand how permanent fix on this issue is being planned?
