You might want to try compatilbility mode. That works becutifully with 64-bit Wndows 7.

I'm not sure how else to answer your question. It is unsupported, and has been unsupported for more than 10 years. This means nobody has tested it for compatibility, and nothing will be modified, no reports will be made, and no support given. If it is compatible, this is just luck. So - as an end user - I have described what I know about known issues. You may have discovered a problem with the installer too, which might have come in with Windows 10 or an update to Windows 10. Since it won't work well if installed, the chances are it won't be worth the trouble of trying to get over your problem.

I installed full version 6 in Windows 10. It works but does not work with Windows 11.
I also installed Microsoft Office 2002 / 2007 in Windows 10.
They work. You just have to try it instead of asking other. I am 60 years old Chinese woman. You would think we are dumb women but smart to install older version of software. If it crashed, I fixed it at my age. Do you want to hire me? I'm looking for a job

Yes, it AA 6.0 works fine in W10 except for the Adobe Printer Driver, however I'll add that there appear to be ways to accomplish getting that driver installed but it seemed just as easy to use the Windows "Save As PDF" or "Microsoft Print To PDF" so I haven't bothered. All other aspects of the software work just fine including the full Help manual and the included Acrobat Distiller. I use it mainly to combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF, to re-organize/delete/add pages to a PDF and the OCR function under Paper Capture is stellar.
