Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Installation Problem

New Here ,
Jan 09, 2017 Jan 09, 2017

I am trying to install Adobe Acrobat XI Pro onto a Windows 10 laptop. The installation almost completes and then backs out with an installation error. I have tried installing with my antivirus disabled and get the same result. I have tried installing from both the CD and the downloaded image, the same result. I tried installing the same software on my wife's computer (who doesn't need it) and the installation went flawlessly.

I did have Acrobat previously installed, but had an issue and had to uninstall and reinstall.

I do not know what to try next.

Hi andrewl93283622,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Please run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and then restart your system.

Then try to install application from here: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi
