Hello. I run a subscription on Adobe export PDF. Trying to open a document PDF on my iMac I get the error message as displayed above, and document is all garbled with reference to text. All columns and boxes are displayed correctly. Only the text isn't showing properly. Attempting the same on my laptop(windows 7 it displays correctly. Does anybody know how to handle and fix this. Is it my local settings or something else?

Hi again adorobat. Searched some more and found that the calibri font is missing on my system (Mojave). Not in the list as installable. Reading some support from apple and can't find the calibri mentioned anywhere. Will have to get with them since it looks to me as if problem lies with them. Cheers and tas. Leif-idar

Hi leif-idarf,
As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting above mentioned error when trying to open a pdf, is that correct?
Could you check if the desired font(s) are properly installed on the machine?
Also, check if the fonts are embedded in the PDF under "File> Properties> Font"
Also, refer to the steps given in the following forum threads for the same:
Acrobat Reader 11.0.03 "cannot find or create the font 'Arial'" (Acrobat Reader)
Let us know if you need any help.

Hello adorobat and thanks for helping. I right click in document and go to ´document properties´. ( I don't find the option File>properties>font. Is it my version ?) Under document properties I see Calibri under fonts used. It says calibri, true type CID, coding is Identity-H, actual font is unknown. Should
The next font is calibri bold (built in subset), same coding. Does this mean the font is missing in document or on the iMac? If missing on iMac: how do I install it? Cheers and thanks. Leif-Idar
