My Acrobat XI freezes when connected to the internet

Hello All,

About a week ago, my Acrobat XI started freezing up when just reading PDF files.  After multiple reloads & re-installs, I discovered that the freezing only occurs when I am connected to the internet.  if i disable my internet connection, I have no problems at all.

What can I do to fix this?  I have used multiple versions of Acrobat for the last 14 years and this is the first time this has occurred.

I appreciate any help that can be provided.

Hello All,

I figured out my solution.  I remembered that I signed into 'Adobe Online Services'.  That was the entire problem.  Once I signed out of it, my problem went away.  I have no idea whats wrong with that option but it was real close to causing Adobe to lose a long term client.  I seriously doubt they care about little ole me but it would have been for a stupid reason.

Hello All,

It's been a couple of days and I haven't had any responses.  This is quite annoying.  I have been a Acrobat user for a lot of years and I just upgraded to XI in November.  My acrobat is rendered useless at the moment and they seems to be ZERO support for the product.  I use PDFs extensively and this is affecting my business.

Obviously there is no help for me.  I hate to switch but I don't seem to have any other choice.  Any suggestions on a Acrobat alternative?
