New Here ,
May 16, 2020 May 16, 2020

Dear All,

I just reinstalled a new Windows 10 workstation on a DELL Precision 3420. The OS Update has been done.

I first tried to install Adobe reader in english. I download the installer and I lunch it. I had to confirm the installer.

Then adobe opens a windows, and usally we see the progress of the installation, but in my case, nothings happen. That windows freeze. I mean nothings happen and the installation is not progressing.

i do not know why because usually, the installation always complete and the installer disapear form the download folder.

Later, I tried to install Adobe Acrobate. I go the licence and I download the installer, When I lunch it, I confirm the installation task but nothing happen. I also tried to install Creative cloud, but same problems.

I wonder if you know that's can be the cause of the problem and why the installation do not start.

As I said, my windows 10 is fredhly installed.

Many thanks for your help

Hi,

Try using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool before installing any software or trying to re-install: https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

And since you've mentioned about trying to install using the CC Desktop app, you may also want to try the CC Cleanupt Tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

Both tools will remove old traces of software and leave your system ready for a fresh installation.

When you're done performing these tasks download Acrobat from here:

And see how this works for you.

Hi,

Just a quick follow up and see if you were able to resolve your issue.

By the way, just today another optional update was released addressinf additional known issues.

I would suggest to apply this update: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html
