I can not print *.pdf files anymore. I am using a Brother HL-L8350CDW printer running off a MacBook Air. I have the latest printer driver installed. When I send a document to this printer, the print dialog bog shows it spooling and then the 7 page document HANGS up on Page 4. I have tried FORCE QUITTING, Re-booting both printer AND computer and no joy.
I also have an HP 7640 that I *CAN* print to with no problem.

Hi jpucky227,
Would request you to please Check whether the software is up to date or not after going through "Help > check for updates". Also Restore the preferences :-
1.From finder, please navigate to Go >Go to folder > Library, from here under the preferences folder remove all the ".plist" files for acrobat .
2. Then from Go to folder > ~Library, from here under the preferences folder remove all the ".plist" files for acrobat .
Then Please check is this happening with other documents with this printer as well & also check whether this printer is working fine with other Applications or not.Check where that file is saved , if its on network save it to the local drive & using what application this document is created ,then check.
Regards,
Yatharth

No joy on this solution. I can’t even find where to RESTORE PREFERENCES. Software IS up to date: v.11.0.14 This READER
What the heck is a .plist file??
Everything else seems to work and I CAN print from other applications.

I too am experiencing PDF printing problems using Acrobat 9 Pro.
Print status indicated: "Printing - Sending Data to Printer" and may (or may not) print out hours later (even simple text-only 1 page).
Troubleshooting steps already completed:
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Sorry - forgot to mention that I am printing to a Brother HL-3040CN (USB connection). I tested it also on our Samsung M288X which is a network printer
