cannot edit converted doc

After converting a PDF to doc or docx, the newly created doc cannot be edited. it acts just as if it was still a PDF.

Please help.

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are unable to edit a doc file from pdf, is that correct?

If the original pdf was a scan, then it cannot be edited. Refer to the following forum links which discuss the similar topic:
