Error trying to Merge Documents "Could not organize"

New Here ,
Mar 10, 2022 Mar 10, 2022

I am trying to merge 14 small-ish pdf's together and I keep getting the same message. "Could not organize." I tried merging only 5 together, 4 together, etc and I still get the same message. It is so frustrating!! What does this message mean? How can I fix it?

Here are some example files as mentioned earlier in my post.

I downloaded these files from the IRS website.

Hi Daniel346184659aem,

Thank you for sharing the files, and sorry for the delayed response.

We tried to combine both files on Acrobat Online and the Acrobat desktop application. The files combined without any issues.

Would you mind sharing the screen recording of the workflow on your end? It will help us to understand better what is creating the issue.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Usually, this issue happens if the files are rights-protected. Or there is some technical issue with the service/product. Is this still happening if you try the same behavior with another file?
I have tried a similar behavior, and it worked out fine on my end.

Hi abhiSam,

Thank you for confirming.

Could you please share those files with us? We will try to replicate the behavior to check whether it is file-specific. Please check if you can use other features on the Acrobat Online account without any issues.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi eager_days83800,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you get the same error message, there might be one of the files that is creating this issue.

As the team is looking into this behavior, would you mind sharing the files so we can check?

Thanks,

Meenakshi

We are all still waiting on an update for this issue. Each time I try to combine pdf documents more than a couple of kilobytes, the "could not organize" error code pops up. It appears to be a software glitch that needs to be debugged. Please let us know when you fix the code and have an update.
