Hi I'm not sure which abobe product this relates to but at this title says...How do I create a or convert a file to pdf that has forms editable on mobile devices as I'm wanting to create a daily questionnaire for my members to fill in but the majority of them will be on mobile devices

Hi Adamh,

As mentioned, to create PDF file you can follow the steps suggested in- Creating and distributing PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat

If I understand correctly, as shared above that you want to be able to edit the form on mobile app. Editing of the form would not be possible (except iPad), you can only fill the form.

Hi it isn't creating a pdf file I have a problem with its creating one that has fillable form areas that people who view the pdf on mobile can fill in on their mobiles if that makes sense?

What you are looking for, that can be done with "Prepare Form" feature of the Adobe Acrobat.

Yes, absolutely!

The document can be viewed and filled (if you have set document's permissions this way) using Fill & Sign app.

Will the users need this app in order to be able to fill in the pdf? Is there anyway of making an editable pdf for mobile where the user can just download the pdf and edit it without any additional apps that are already installed on it by default to save the customer having to download additional content?

To work on the fillable pdf document you definitely need a pdf supported software. End users might be using some other 3rd party pdf supported software.

Can not assure that those software are going to support the fillable pdf that you are going to share with them or not. They might support or might not be.

End users can give a try, and if that doesn't work then can download the Fill & Sign app.

Hi - as a related question, I want to send PDFs to clients for them to sign on the mobile Adobe Fill & Sign App. However, rather than opening the PDF in the mobile app through their email, I would like them to be able to use the option within the Fill & Sign app to use a "Web URL." In other words, I want our clients to be able to open the Fill & Sign App on their phones, click "select a form to fill out," select the "Web URL" option, and use a URL which we have provided for them to access the PDF they need to sign.

However, it is unclear which URL types are supported through this feature. I have tried to link to PDFs hosted on a number of different servers, including my company's server, DropBox, and Google Drive. None of the URLs work, and when I paste the link and press "fill form," I either get an error message saying "Could Not Import Document" or "This form could not be opened because the link is not of a supported format."

I have one example of a link which works for this feature (from Fidelity: https://www.fidelity.com/bin-public/060_www_fidelity_com/documents/customer-service/FILI_ACCOUNT_AUT...) and I can't figure out why it works and how I can make it work for my own documents.

Adobe's instructions and the FAQ for the mobile Fill & Sign app are very limited, and do not address the "Web URL" option. I would appreciate any guidance on how to make a document and its URL compatible with this feature, and to better understand what is causing the error messages that I'm getting in the app.
