How to export (copy) compressed PDF file to my computer file

I had to compress 4 PDF files in my computer files to submit them with 2 government affadavits. Somehow I was able to copy them from Adobe to my files but they somehow converted to html format, gov't can't accept this format. How can I copy or move them from Adobe in PDF format. PLEASE, PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME???

Please confirm if you are using the desktop or mobile application. By Adobe, do you mean the Acrobat application?

From where are you opening the files in the application? Are they saved locally or on a network drive?

Please share more information and the screenshots for a better understanding.
