I have a problem when converting pdf form which is consisting letters Ö Ä into word document
What should I do ?
Hi Matti,
The ExportPDF online service support several scandinavian languages for Optical Character Recognition. To change the language that it uses, click Document Language (for text recognition) after you've chosen the file that you want to export. You will find several scandinavian languages listed in the pop-up menu, including Norwegian, and Danish, and Swedish.
Please let us know how it goes.
Best,
Sara

Hello I just got PDFexport and the drop-down menu of languages does NOT include Swedish. Or any other Scandinavian language. It does have English, French, German, Italian and a few others. What gives? I purchased it online here in Sweden. Thanks.

Hi margareth,
I've just double-checked to verify those language options are still there, and they definitely are on my end. Are you logging in via the ExportPDF web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf or via Adobe Reader?
If you're using the web interface, please log out, clear the cache, and then log back in.
If you're using Reader, please try reinstalling.
Best,
Sara

I just figured it out. Swedish is NOT an option with conversion to .Docx but it IS an option with conversion to .Doc. So I have just done that. Yes, and what you describe is exactly how I am logged in. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I can live with just converting through .Doc and then changing it later, but it does seem odd.

Hi Margaret,
That is indeed strange, and I'll be passing that along. I'm unable to replicate that here, and I think you should have the same language options for OCR regardless of the output format.
Best,
Sara

I am in the middle of something now but tomorrow when I have some time I’ll restart the computer and see if that fixes it.
Thanks again.
