is there a way that I can download a PDF document on my pac and convert it either into a powerpoint or a keynote file? It won't let me convert a PDF document, on my computer, to another format/layout

Please let me know the application you are using to convert PDF files to powerpoint.

If you have subscription you can easily convert files in Acrobat application or online here: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf. Make sure you sign in with your Adobe ID under which you have subscription.
