TL;DR: Can I remove uploaded image filesize restrictions OR is there a way to simply having Adobe downsize the file size.
I am trying to rebuild a previous solution using a webform that allowed personnel we're onboarding (into a low barrier workplace/people living with barriers) to complete an application form for a background check.
Previously, I was able to leverage document upload(s), which than appended the uploaded images to the PDF in the output.
However, the regulator has made a change which now requires the person completing the form to also put a signature next to the image of their uploaded images.
The solution is to use an image upload block, however, this seems to come with a file size limitation and I don't appear to be able to change it anywhere in the settings. This causes a barrier because we are not working with users that will have the skillset/technology literacy to downsize a file. We expect most often the user story is that the individual simply takes a picture with their phone and uploads the picture. These are typically natively large files.
We don't need the image itself to be that high of quality but I would like a way to not break the UX so the user can simply click the link, complete the fields, upload an image and not have to worry about tinkering with things such as file size.
The attached image is just from the test I am running before putting in the work to build out the full web form.

Thank you for reaching out.
Currently, there is no option to change the size of the image field. However, you may try decreasing the form field size and see if that makes any difference. You can refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4fltGl7. Check if that helps.

@Meenakshi Negi that is not quite my issue.
I am using the image block on the form but it's unrealistically demanding that the image be below 5mb and bellow 5000 pixels... most standard users are not going to have the means or ability to figure out how to compress the image properly to meet these parameters... and I am additionally having issues finding anything that does this without a great deal of existing knowledge.
I just think it's odd that I am going to have to effectively write a web-based program to do this considering the size and resources that Adobe has. I cannot imagine under what context this feature could be used by anybody.
