Why is it $15.00 a month if I just want to re-order PDFs?

I wanted to re-order some PDF pages I had received in a scan, and when trying to do so- got sent to a pay wall for $15 a month in order to get the version that can re-order pages. I went online and used Sedja pdf to do so for free. I love Adobe, and use it often- but I think that it's sort of silly to pay $15 a month for simple tasks like conversion to Word documents or re-ordering docs when you can get these online for free. Of course, I'd prefer a desktop version and have used Adobe from grade school til grad school. Would love to hear what you guys at Adobe think.

Hello angadj28870385

As per the description above, you are getting a purchase page when you are trying to export a PDF file, Is that correct?

The record shows that you are subscribed to Adobe ExportPDF service on your current Adobe ID, try exporting the PDF using the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password on a different browser like Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari and see if this brings any difference.

Note: With Adobe ExportPDF you can turn PDF files into editable Word, Excel, and RTF (rich text format) documents only.

For more details: FAQ | Adobe Export PDF, Document Cloud Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/document-cloud/faq/adobe-exportpdf-faq.html

If you are using the free desktop version of Adobe Reader DC and getting the error message, please sign out and sign back in with your current Adobe ID and password from Adobe Reader DC, check for any pending updates from Help>Check for updates, and reboot the machine and try exporting the PDF.

For more troubleshooting, you may refer to Troubleshooting Create PDF, Export PDF, Adobe Send, Fill & Sign … services(PDFPack or Document Cloud...

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

(Not from Adobe) Whatever you want to do, you will find free software to do it. Adobe could compete with this by making all their software free, but I'd rather they stayed in business!
