I have to move the mouse wheel two steps to zoom in or out one step, so zooming is slow and is not smooth. In other apps or website it works propertly. I tried it in four browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Vivaldi) and same results. Does anyone have the same problem?

Hi Elpmxe27,
Thank you for reaching out.
Could you please confirm where you experienced this behavior?
Are you using the Acrobat Online account or the desktop application? We have tried the same on both platforms, and it works fine.
Would you mind sharing the screen recording to understand it better?
Let us know if the issue is resolved already.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Thank you for your response.
The problem is only in the Acrobat Online account, I use the free version. In the desktop Acrobat Reader or the Chrome PDF Viewer, there isn't any problem. You can see the keys pressed indicator at the bottom right in the screen recordings I sent. If you look at the indicator in the screen recording from Acrobat Online, there is the problem that Acrobat Online ignore every odd step of a scroll wheel, so although a PDF document should zoom in 10 steps, it only zooms in 5 steps. This problem only occurs when zooming, not when scrolling.

Hi Elpmxe27,
Thank you for sharing the video, and sorry about the delay in response.
We did try to replicate the behavior, and it works smoothly on our end.
Could you please confirm if this behavior started recently? Try opening Acrobat Online on a new incognito window and check if it behaves similarly.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

I still have this issue, nothing changed. I tested it in the incognito window, but I can not see any difference. I created a new Chrome profile and installed the Acrobat extension to try it without my account, and the same results. On my Chrome profile and my Adobe account are no difference between with and without extension too.
I have had the issue since I tried to use the Adobe extension to replace the default PDF viewer in Chrome and Vivaldi, it was this year probably in February, I had not used it before.

@Elpmxe27 I've got the same issue and have had it for a long time now. I just always assumed it would get patched out. Basically, just takes forever to zoom in. I'm using a Logitech G502 mouse. This mouse has a "clicky" scroll wheel meaning its not free moving. In my testing the zoom only responds to ever 2nd to 6th scroll click. If it responded to every rotation of the scroll whell it would work as expected I think.

I'm running Adobe Acrobat Pro and the Ctrl-MouseWheel Zoom has never worked. No even 2 to 6 times slower as described above. I also find this new Adobe package much much less user friendly than the one I was using 2 years ago. It's terrrible. The menus are clunky, the edit/redline commands don't really work well - you have to do things 2 or 3 times due to the disappearing drop down menus, and what do you guys have against using the escape key to exit a command? Anyway, if you can get me through the mouse zooming issue, I might not be so frustrated with everything else.

I'm having the same issue in Chrome, every 2nd scroll won't zoom so zooming takes forever. No problem zooming in the desktop version. However, zooming works fine when opening the pdf in Incognito mode for me.

Thank you for reaching out.
We have tried replicating this on our end. However, it works fine.
Please let us know if the issue occurs with all documents and share the screen recording of the issue happening on your end. More information would be helpful.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
