Archiving Adobe Template

Hello Good Day
I just want to ask for help because i just want to Archive unactive template. and only remain the active one. i am not able to find the library template... basically what i need is where i can store my old version template... also may i ask any idea if it is possible to edit the pdf in the active template? so that if i make an edit in the pdf i am not going back from the scratch. wherein i am editing the pdf/ make a fillable field again and asign a signer... may i ask if their a fastest way to do it. Hoping that someone can help me with my queries. thank you
