If my customer is a TV network and they want to sign separate agreements for all their affiliate stations, can I add all those separate agreements to one email? Or would the customer have to get a separate email for every station agreement? For example, the same Customer Contact getting 50 emails (for 50 affiliate stations) coming one after another saying "Sign This Document". Does EchoSign support uploading multiple documents to one "agreement" record? If not, the whole 'ease of use' electronic signature process could backfire big time...
Hello,
Yes, you can add separate agreements to one email. EchoSign will automatically append the documents in one transaction, then you can manually place the signature fields for each agreement separately.
You can attach a total of 100 pages and size should be 10MB or less (Can be adjusted according to the subscription type).

Nakul

So if one of those TV stations later requests evidence of it's signed contract...
will the orchestrator be able to send out just the signed contract of that station?
... or now that you have appended them all, will that mean sending them 49 other station's legal documents too?
I'm just trying to get my head around whether i need to separate them back out again somehow

Hi Chris,
You will get just 1 document with all the pages from all the different agreements in that. You can then download the agreement, use Adobe Acrobat to dis-integrate the pages into separate PDF's and send back only the page you want to send, instead of the whole agreement with 49 other legal docs.
Hope this helps

Sameer, that is not accurate. Once the document has been signed via Adobe Sign or the "Send for Signature" feature, Adobe Acrobat will not allow you to extract any pages.

so what is the solution to then separate the documents? we send out bundles for different purposes which then need to be separated later... i dont see a way separate.

Just a though, couldn't you use the print to PDF option and save just the pages you need?

Hi All,
There is an option in Account settings "Keep document separated" which returns each document as a separate copy when you send multiple documents for signature at once.
However, the option is only available in the business and enterprise-level service plan.
I have checked that you are using the individual level Adobe Sign service.
This setting will not be available in your account.
Hope the information helps.

For those coming across this later, the steps to seperate an agreement into the individual documents are located here: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/kb/split-up-a-signed-document.html#:~:text=To%20do%20this%2C%20log%20in,'
