We're currently in the beginning stages of implementing E-Sign internally and thus far we've had a single point of contact responsible for creating the templates we're utilizing. However, that person is scheduled to retire in approximately 5 months so we're trying to understand the best workflow moving forward. We'd like to be able to hand the reigns of editing over to someone else but as far as I can currently tell, there's no way for someone to edit a Template that has been created by another user. This seems...not ideal.
The best answer I found was from over 5 years ago: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-acrobat-sign-discussions/how-to-update-the-template-created-by-...
Has there been any traction on this? Is there still no way to allow another individual to edit a Template that someone else created? What's the best way for us to move forward in preparing for this individual's departure as they're the current owner? Duplicating ALL the documents by another user?

The template's author can edit the settings for each template.
Go to manage - template (left hand side) - clic on the template & clic on edit template.

We've tried this and it allows me to utilize these document but I don't believe it allows me to make and changes or edits to the templates that have been authored by another user. I don't see the Edit option for templates that other folks in our company have created.

Check out this link - Create and manage document templates (adobe.com). It can be done.
