Empty API request log?

New Here ,
Jan 11, 2023 Jan 11, 2023

Hi,

We're working with the REST API in a workflow that creates a document which is working OK. However there are no entries in the API request log? I am making a presumption that any API call should be logged there. Can anyone give some guidance on either on the issue or what I might me misunderstanding?

Hi Ed,

Are you attempting to look at the API log while logged in as the integration key or application "owner"? You should be able to see most of the API calls.

Hi Aaron,

Thank you for your response and question. I am looking at the API logs using the user account that we used to generate the auth token (from the Acrobat Sign REST API Version 6 Methods page) that we are including in our calls. Based on your question, this may be the part that I'm not clear on. I was assuming that any API interaction regardless of the whether it was a temporary token or otherwise we should be able to see the API calls being logged. The specific flow that we are using is creating a document which is happening with no issue. I will review the authorization documents again and any guidance you can give would be most appreciated.

Just a follow up. I beleive the next steps are to create and installed an integration key since I am assuming now that part of my issue is that I'm using the temp token generated on the API test page. I have an appointment with an expert to discuss this. Thanks Aaron!
