We recently completed the validation process for Adobe Sign and rolled it out to users on the team. Our protocol, and other documents, have been executed successfully, which is great, but when our clinical team attempted to upload our protocol to the WCG IRB submission portal, we received an error message.
The portal accepts documents that are signed using DocuSign's validated platform, but issues are with Adobe Sign.
I have attached three screen shots:
1. Error message received when attempting to upload to WCG portal.
2. DocuSign validated document properties, which shows NO SECURITY under security method (even though it's validated).
3. Adobe Sign validated document properties, which shows PASSWORD SECURITY.
Adobe Sign support said they can add a password of our choice to the backend but then the document can be manipulated, so is therefore no longer secure.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it? This is extremely problematic if we cannot find a resolution.
