When sending a document out for signing, I noticed the name of the signer is incorrect. The name is associated with the email and I can not find a way to change it. Documents are originated by me, she does not have an account. Thank you for any assistance.
Adobe Acrobat Sign offers the ability to require recipient names to be a certain format when sending the agreement out for signature. If the agreement is already sent and you need to correct a recipient's name, you can do that as well. Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/sign-require-recipient-name.html for details

Hi ronb85265072
Please be informed it won't be possible for you to change the Signers name. Signer might have used this name to Sign any of the document previously due to which Adobe Sign captured it.
If Signers doesn't hold any Adobe Sign account, then you can ask the signer to register for a Trial account using the below link:
- Free trial, Adobe Sign (formerly EchoSign) | Adobe Document Cloud
Login to the Adobe Sign account, navigate to "Account" -> Personal Preferences -> My profile -> Edit & update the "First & Last name".

The signer's name is wrong - I don't know how it was entered incorrectly, but it is. I am not about to send something to her with an incorrect name. Nothing has actually been signed by her. If I can't correct her name, how do I completely delete the email that is associated with that document - so I can start over??? I will not be asking her to open an account.Thank You,

Hi ronb85265072,
This cannot be handled from your end. This is something that signer needs to get fixed from his end, either by registering for a Trial Adobe Sign account or by removing her pending Adobe Sign account.

Was this ever resolved? I am having the same problem. Nothing was ever signed and I cannot correct the name.

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.
Would you mind elaborating on your issue?
As you have mentioned, you experience the same behavior. Did you send the document to the signer before?
Share the screenshot where the name is not showing correctly.
Let us know if the issue is already resolved.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

The link goes to a blank page. It seems there is a valid reason why Docusign is so widely used. I never had this issue using Docusign and since I purchased Adobe Acrobat to take their place, I guess I'll need to find a replacement for Adobe Acrobat. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense why Adobe would do this but its caused an unworkable problem for e-signatures.
