I have a document that was misplaced by the person supposed to sign. How do I resend it to them to sign?

If the document is still out for signature, you can create a reminder which will send a new email for the same document to signer. You can go to Manage tab->Single click document under out for signature and on right, click Remind tab.

How about if the document has expired. Is there a way to just click resend or do I have to go thru the whole process again.

And also is the "send reminder" option is not avalible (maybe my institutions is blocking that functions...?). It seems like this should be obvioulsy avalible function. Why is it no where to be found.

Does the Send reminder feature resend the original e-mail with an attachment if the recipient has deleted it?

If you have sent the document for signature, please make sure that you have used the correct email address for the recipient. Please ask the user to refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4k8I7en.
There is no resend option in Acrobat Sign. However, you can cancel the transaction and send a new one. To do so, follow the steps suggested here: Cancel an agreement.
