Official Certificate not shown in the list

New Here ,
Nov 20, 2023 Nov 20, 2023

Hi there,

I am trying to sign a document with an official certificate.

My problem is that the certificate does not show in the list of certificates when I try to digitally sign the document, I have performed some checks like:

  • Check that the certificate is properly installed in Edge, Chrome, etc.
  • Check the Trust Manager
  • Check that the certificate is in the 'Identities and Trusted Certificates' list

Upon checking 'Identities and Trusted Certificates' and selecting my certificate, the option of 'Use for signing' does not appear. So, I guess that the problem should be around this issue.

I would appreciate some help on how to get around this problem.

Please, let me know your comments.

Hi Rubén33708887rw5e,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delayed response.

Could you please confirm how you are adding a signature to the document? Are you adding a signature in Acrobat, or have you received the document via Adobe Acrobat Sign?

It would be helpful if you could share a screenshot to better understand.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
