Prefill signature in indesign text tag for adobe acrobat sign?

I can easily in indesign prepare forms for e-signing. But for prefilling, the text tags do not work properly.

I want to input a signature that i myself have to prefill using:

SenderSign Sign_es_:prefill:signature

but as soon as i open the file in acrobat, and request E-signing, it changes my field to a signer1 instead of assigning it to me. I have checked the documentation and made sure to correctly write my tags. I also use the date prefill tag in indesign that works with no issue as below:

SenderDate Date_es_:prefill:date

Thanks

Hi Anthony Lemay,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you prefill the document and sign it, you need to add yourself as the first recipient. That seems to be the reason it assigns you as the signer 1.

Please add tags, adding yourself as the first signer. Check if you still experience any issues.

For text tags information in Acrobat Sign, refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/text-tag.html.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

@tonybikini if you need to prefill the correct tag would be {{mysig_es_:signer1:signature}} for your signature..... you would be participant 1... and {{clientsig_es_:signer2:signature}} for the client who would be participant 2
