is it possible to make the "Preview & Add Signature Fields" a mandatory field somehow? So a user is not able to send the contract without the previewing the doc first?

Hey, thanks for your answer.

Are those setting also valid for the salesforce integration?

I checked the setting they way I want them to be.

  • preview is selected by default
  • dont allow users to modify

But it seemsm, that its not changing in salesforce.

Is there another setting which I am just unable to find?

thanks in advance

Salesforce integration has it's own rules. First and foremost you want to ensure new agreements are created via an agreement template record. In this agreement template record you would set the preview setting on or off.

Then in Adobe Sign custom settings you can make this a read-only option.

Go to Setup > Platform Tools > Custom Code > Custom Settings> Adobe Sign Settings

Click new or manage and uncheck the option "Read Only Preview or Position"

https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/salesforce-advanced-customization-guide.html see the section Adobe Sign Custom Settings

there ay be a way of editing the agreement object so the preview field is enabled by default and then made readonly.
