"Error message: You do not have permission to execute this operation"

I have a few users that cannot finish forms where they are the particpants.  

 

When opening the form by clicking on "View and Submit," they are receiving the error, "You do not have permisison to execute this operation."  Anyone else experiencing something similar?

If you can, open a case with Adobe and provide them with the captured Network Logs in (edge,firefox,chrome or safari).

Capture them during the whole signing process. 


We are unable to do so since we cannot reproduce the issue.

I have opened a case.  It's being escalated.

We were able to fix the issue by deleting the accounts of the affected users and then re-provisioning their accounts.

I resolved my case with Adobe.  

Bug ID - DCES-4501428 was created and in the works for a code release.  Release 15.2.1 is scheduled for Feb 2025. 

 

A successful workaround has been made:

Please enable this option:

 

Account Settings -> Signature Preferences -> Signers can change their name or initals.
