Resetting Permissions Password in Adobe Sign

We need to combine Adobe Sign signed documents (grant agreements) with other pdfs (e.g., invoices) so we can attach the combined pdfs to our payment processor.  When we try to upload the signed pdfs into Adobe XI Pro to combine the pdfs, we get a dialog box requesting a "permissions password".  No one knows what this password is and we can't figure out how to reset this "permissions password" anywhere on Adobe Sign or in our Adobe XI Pro.  Is it possible to reset this "permissions password" so we can combine these signed documents with other pdfs?

Hi Saint,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you are trying to combine the signed documents, please use the PDF Portfolio.

Adobe Sign documents are encrypted for security reasons and cannot be combined with other PDFs or documents. If you wish to keep all the documents in one place, you may create a PDF portfolio. Please refer to the following help page for more information on this: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/create-customize-pdf-portfolios.html

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
