send a document to a former active user

I have sent a document to a colleague for signature. When he clicks the link in the e-mail he is prompted to sign into his eSign account. However he is no longer an active user so he cannot do this.

Is there a way around this?

yes, but the account admin will have to contact support about this, assuming they don't want to re-activate the user so they take a license.
