Sending multiple templates to one recipient

Community Beginner ,

We used to be able to select multiple document templates and send them all at the same time to one recipient who would then open and sign them all and then all would be sent back in one document.

With the latest update this is no longer possible, we get an error that says "multiple e-sign templates cannot be sent for e-signatures. Please select one"

I am wondering why this feature was removed and if there's any way to get it back.

We have multiple templates saved in our library and pick and choose which different combination of templates need to be sent to each client. It is much more efficient to send them all as one package as we previously could.

This may be an inconvenience (or impossible) for some, but the "Acrobat Sign" app for iPhone allowed me to send multiple templates for signature at the same time. My law firm has been using Adobe for a while, and the multiple e-sign feature is necessary. Hope they return the option to Adobe's online platform. Good luck, all.

Hi !  I have found a fix.  Go to settings and untick "use the latest version of Request e-signatures" and save.  It then reverts to the old way where you can add multiple templates to one recipient.  A life saver !!

thank you! my staff reports this did work for us.

For anyone else: on the web portal go to the upper right hand corner where it shows the pie chart of your storage usage. Click to open the dropdown menu where it will show your account name and email address. Then click "settings" and follow instructions above.

Adobe,

I am having the same problem and I am looking at alternative software to get our required signatures. Not only do I need to use different combinations of my templates for each signature, but I need signatures in a particular order so sending them out one at a time and wait for a signature will be a huge inconvenience to our business and our customers. Please re-establish this feature or lose my business.

The legacy features still work as they use to. Go to acrobat.adobe.com/link/home and login. On top right go to settings and unclick the "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures". To use the old system you commence the process from the website by clicking on "Request e-signatures" as opposed to commencing the process from the Acrobate app where the pdf is open.
