Unable to set deadline

I found this article that says you can set a deadline for an adobe sign document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/set-reminders.html#Review

I followed the directions, but don't actually see the option for setting a deadline. Here's a screenshot showing that the set deadline checkbox is not an option as described. What's up with that?
