Hi
When you prepare a document for signature, the following occurs:

1. Enter recipient (e-mail) and a message.
2. The document is transferred and prepared automatically
3. The document opens and is ready to be pre-filled or sent for signature. Bottom picture is from step 3

Here I have the opportunity to assign "rights" to a field (marked in red on the image.  My question:
Are there any possible ways to assign this property (fieldproperties, filed can be corrected by a. Sender b. Recipient c. All)

It is very frustrating that I can only assign this feature so late in the process and that I repeat the same action for all the contracts I send + for all fields individually.

I would like to assign and save this field properties in the PDF document and thus avoid this slow workflow.

Is there anyone who knows a solution or has a script / proposal for how it can be solved?

Greetings,

At the bottom right of the window you have pictured, just above the Send button, is a check box to Save to document library.

Checking this box before you send the document will allow you to save a copy of the document, with the fields as configured, to your library, where you can reload and resend it.  The library document will have the same fields defined just as they were at the time that you sent the original agreement.

The Individual level of service can only save the full document

The Individual level of service can only save the full document with the fields.

Team, Business and Enterprise service levels can also save just the field layer.

The saved template can be found in you Library.

On the manage page, it's almost at the very bottom. this will be useful if you want to edit the template at any time.

When sending, you can start an agreement from the dashboard by selecting a template:

Or select it on the Send page from the Add Files link:
