I want to use Adobe Aero Geospatial Creator on Windows in Japan, but I can't use location with Anchor.
Also, when I request a press release for Adobe Aero, a download link is not sent to me.
Is the use of Adobe Aero press releases not allowed in Japan?
Or is it currently not available on Windows?
Same problem here. Saving a location but tiles not loading nor locating object. I believe this is a major issue at the moment according to the Discord group. Admins- is there a fix yet?

Hello, I'm from Japan too. 🙂
You can use Adobe Aero Beta's location anchor feature in Japan (for both Windows and Mac).
Once you've requested a pre-release link, they will send you a downloadable software link within a few days, typically taking around 3 to 5 days. Upon receiving it, you'll need to uninstall the current version and re-install the new one they've sent you in order to use this feature.

Thank you for your detailed reply!
I will wait for a few more days to receive an email from Adobe.

Adobe has issued a temporary patch for this that will be incorporated into an AERO update. It issue has to do with a recent change google made to their file path names for the tiles and Windows limitations on file path names. Patch is posted in the Adobe Discord servicer/ AERO geospatial release channel https://discord.com/channels/179919948569640960/1099094398597333053/1201777999926796289
Verbage from discord post includes a manual way to fix too (see below)
It looks like there was a changes recently where Google is sending tiles with extremely long file names and Aero uses those names explicitly when it caches the tiles. On Windows, using NTFS by default, there is a file name length limit. There is an option to turn on "Long Path Names", but it is off by default. Many developer tools (and probably some other installers) turn it on. This is why some people experienced the problem and others didn't. It is also why it was more difficult for our developers to try and reproduce it. The proper fix is for Aero to shorten the names we use in our cache, and I will make sure we get this out in a release very quickly. In the meantime, if anyone wants a workaround, you can turn on the long path name setting by editing your registry using regedit and setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\LongPathsEnabled to 1. Alternatively, you can run the attached registry script that will enable that setting. We will update you here when we have a new release that will solve this problem without needing to make this change.

I am not an AR content developer using Unity or UE. I have many tasks to create city walking guides using Adobe Aero, and I'm trying out the beta version of Adobe Aero software in hopes of a friendly development environment.
However, when using this software, I realize that it is still not possible to create a city guide that covers a long distance of only about 500m square. The reason for this is that the import range of Geo tiles into Adobe Aero is approximately 500m square.
If you want to create a city guide for other areas, I feel that you need to link the published Adobe Aero world to the Start world.
I feel there is another problem when creating a city guide using the beta version.
It's a matter of coordinates.
You can set coordinates to load a Geo tile, but the pin of action for AR content is that you can't set coordinates.
I think you can only set the movement distance in mm from the coordinates where the AR content starts for the action pin of AR content.
Also, the difference between Unity, UE, and Adobe Aero is that objects deep in space cannot be hidden with alpha in the terrain and architecture imported with Geo tile, and all objects placed in Aero are displayed on the actual camera. It's about being done.
This is my impression.

I am a civil engineering and architectural CG visualizer by profession. Recently, I have been experimenting a lot with AR at actual size in aero. My first question is, is the maximum range of data that can be loaded into aero about 500m square? Also, regarding the so-called "occlusion", if I adjust the preset box object to the approximate size using the loaded google building as a guide, and then check "Use as mask" under "Properties/Objects" in the lower right corner of the UI, I can use that data to display a portion of what I'm displaying in AR. I think it is possible to erase a part of what is displayed in AR with that data.

I have the same problem. What I did:
After placing the red pin, press Tab twice, then press Enter.
That is equivalent to pressing the "select" button
