New Tutorial idea - it would be great if there's a focused 8-10 min walk through of how to make a gif or animation in Adobe After Effects from scratch (could be something as simple as 2 rotating shapes in After Affects), then import it into Adobe Aero (desktop).
I was inspired after watching your getting started tutorials https://helpx.adobe.com/aero/tutorials.html, but some examples showed content created outside of Aero and I don't know those products (like After Effects).
Hi Tania, this is a great idea! I know that generating image sequence animations in AE adds a lot of possibility for creativity in Aero. I will pass this on to the training team. Thanks!

@markhellar I just watched the 5-min tutorials for learning After Effects on this page How to use compositions in After Effects (adobe.com), they were useful. This page I'm linking to talks specfically about how to import photoshop and illustrator file into AE and apply simple visual effect.

Hi @Tania orange, If you need a transparent background when exporting from After Effects.
Export to Render Queue
Select "Output Module"
Under "Video Output" make sure you select "RGB + Alpha". This will give you a transparent background.
Also, I always knock down my fps to around 12-15 fps. If you keep it at 30, it will be a large file.
Here are two examples I created.
