I have the Capture app but I can't import my libraries into Illustrator as the computers with Illustrator CC are a shared resource (at university) and I can't sync them with my library. I have emailed myself the link but still can't get them into Illustrator cc. is there a work around for this?
HI Cathy.
What I'm not understanding from your post is whether you have access to that shared account. Because, what you need to be able to do is save your library with that library.
In other words, that link you emailed to yourself... you need to be able to open it/save it to that other account. Is that something that you have the access to do?
Sue.

Hi Sue,
No, it is a university computer with shared access and libraries on there don't link at all to the Adobe software, and even if they did I don't have passwords to them. I understand from colleagues that this is to do with the nature of licenses in the education sector. I just wondered if there was a way to by pass the libraries to import the Adobe Capture files.

HI Cathy.
The only way to save assets to a different library than your own is to somehow have access to it. Is there an administrator you can share assets links with and have them upload the Capture assets to that library?
Sue.
